what does “notarized” mean in this case? what is the notary notarizing? at least where i live (NY) notaries aren’t permitted to say anything is a certified copy of anything… only the issuing authority can do that btw i’m still paranoid about not writing the application number on the back of my fbr p...

A friend of mine had their photos rejected because they didn't write the application number on the back of the two witnessed photos. I don't see this on the application instructions or checklist. I had a similar issue - called the hotline and they confirmed that it's fine to have a new witness! Hi everyone, the witness (notary) for my irish parent's ID is different than the witness for my ID, photos, and FBR application. Is this a problem? Thank you!!! Are they less strict with the FBR photos than with passport photos? Because they don't really give any specifications or requirements of the photos, which I know are pretty strict for passports. They just say 'passport-sized', which I take to mean the standard EU 35mm x 45mm. Also, unfortunately in ...
