Re: Naturalisation timeline worries (Update)

Nothing yet from Jul-23, many applicants from July are still waiting for a decision. Don't understand why only July but have to wait as they are not responding on the emails. Are you submitting a complaint? Not yet, waiting some more time and then go through proper channel i.e., involve MP first an...

Re: Naturalisation timeline worries (Update)

I submitted my biometric on 1st September and also received the standard reply on the day it was five months since biometric. I am not sure if for me too it’s IT issue but frustrating that after paying so much money they can’t even give us a decent status update. It’s okay if they tell me it will b...

Re: Naturalisation timeline worries (Update)

I applied in August 2022. Submitted biometrics in London 4 weeks after application at first available free appointment. I was told in February 2023, from Further Nationality Enquiries that all was proceeding without a problem, even though it was 6 months since application. In September 2023, I was ...

Re: Naturalisation timeline worries (Update)

[qoute] Same worry here. My application was also submitted in July but still under approval. I've just received a reply from HO to my enquiry about application status : They've just allocated my application to a casework but they only deal with my application until your biometrics are taken' I'm ver...

Re: More than a year since citizenship application

i can understand your frustration as i have been just told abou this " IT issue" too after 5months, and funny that people are still getting their approvals even the ones that applied after me. It does not seem fair that we all pay same fee and yet some of us have to go through MPs and coun...

Re: Naturalisation timeline worries (Update)

We don't have full stats from all applicants and August applications will realistically be receiving the first batch of approvals in these weeks. The people who reported IT issues applied nowhere around July for this to be a time-related pattern. If the IT issue has been resolved this would be good...

Re: Naturalisation timeline worries (Update)

We shouldn't generalise from one single case, people who applied in July got their approval and people who applied way before August this year are experiencing IT issues due to biometrics, so maybe that is your case, see https://www.immigrationboards.com/british-citizenship/more-than-a-year-since-c...

Re: Naturalisation timeline worries

yes its absolutely true and understandable but i think the reason for anxiety or worry is that how home ofice is processing applications. if no further information is asked or needed then they should clear the backlog and yet we are seeing applicants from even September getting the approvals and a i...

Re: Naturalisation timeline worries

It's been less than 4 months since your biometrics appointment, so well within processing times. For now, rest assured, if there were concerns about your application UKVI would contact you. For now patience is the best course of action, I applied in May this year, biometrics in June, and was approv...

Re: Naturalisation timeline worries

We don't know how and why things are delayed. There's no magic information or solution we can provide, unfortunately. Your best bet is to forget about it till it's approved. I was waiting for (Irish) naturalization for almost 2 years, so I can imagine what you're experiencing, but that's just how g...
