I have no update on renunciation or OCI but need to travel to India.

If I get an evisa, do I have to book my tickets in advance since the application asks for date of arrival? What happens if I arrive a few days later instead?

It's now more than a month. No update on and acknowledgement. I emailed the High Commission and they are ignoring it. Is there anything else I can do?

The website still says: Please take printout of the on-line application and submit it alongwith supporting documents in the office of UK-LONDON.
