i forget to add that you dont need IELTS for skills assessment. it will be required when you will apply to DIMIA and when case officer will ask you after you have applied to DIMIA

Yes! you got the good chance. The first step is to apply to ACS for skill assessment and then apply to DIMIA. You need IELTS (GT) with atleast 6.0 band in each section.

if you get 7.0 or above in each section then you score 25 points. If you get 6 or 6.5 in each section you get 15 points. There are no points for 5.5 or below 6.0 unless you are a trade person.

Well! as far as my information is concerned they verify 4 years of experience if you fall in PIM2, Group A and 6 years if you fall in PIM2 Group B. Now, you can give them proof of your last employer. For example you can show them your appointment letter, may be your salary slips, your employee card....

Always remember on simple rule that if you have done professional certification of anything which is related to your filed just mention it the application and send the evidence like documents and reference letter with the application to support it.

I want to know about the verification of my Work Experience. Do they call or visit physically ? I am from pakistan and if anyone know about it please let me know.

can anybody tell me that how long i will take to get my case office assigned. I have submitted my application online on 12th of april 2008. When should i expect new develpoment in this regard.
