My MP received a letter back from Home Office.They are sayin that Islamabad is supposed to clear the backlog before the 1st of december,so fingers crossed

Well.,my wife is been waiting since 17th april 2009.TB certificate has been expired.Emailed to all departments.Reply is we are very busy sorry thanx for ur patience blah blah blah.MP contacted she wrote to embassy and Home office..no response from both sides.MP decide to write again.. Visa info line...

yeah you know how they are experiencing a high volume of cases and are getting through them in order of submission, blah di blah. apparantly i can check the status of the passport, which is rubbish cos you cant track a passport after appeal. Ridicilous..they are their own bosses at the embassy..i h...

i asked my mp to write to the embassy via the home office and they have sent a reply but obviously not the sort that i was hoping for. is there any1 else to contact apart from the local mp cos i'm getting really fed up now. my husband will miss my graduation next week and that is getting me vexed. ...

My uncle applied for his sister in law last year who is quite young.She got rejected but at the appeal the visa was allowed.Its likely more chances in appeals i think.

Hi faraz...i know its frustrated.I spend loads of money on sollicitors and barristers.They just charge you to fill in that stupid form to lodge an appeal by nearly 200!!!You can do it by ur self. I know 3 ppl who got their case rejected, 1 a friend got rejected for his parents...he represent his cas...

Its not that bad,i think there are a lots of asian and as i can remember last week somewhere,i seen those ppl in birmingham,there were a lots of asians and blacks all around the place their in groups.I saw atleast 100 police vans there and hundreds of ploicemen everywhere.They cant harm us;)

it was an allowed appeal.The appeal was allowed in bradford in march and the passport was submitted on 17th april at islamabad.
