The links mentions a "one-off" payment. Does anyone know how much is this? For those who had to apply for a 2nd extension last year, you can now send in application for refund. See links: http://www.hsmpforumltd.com/hsmpilrjrfaqs.html http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/workingintheuk/tier1...

Just booked 1st July in Liverpool. All other centres are full apparently and 2nd July appointments will be only be taken tomorrow. Case workers have not been updated on the HSMP JR policy document issued yesterday. They still ask for LUIK test for yourself and dependents and they are not aware of t...

I concur with you, Frontier Mole. Another arrogant American who thinks they can run roughshod over everyone and deserves special treatment. And the downside is that its people like her who spoil it for the rest of us law-abiding immigrants. Another "oh wow is me" US cit getting caught out....

divisionbell, My advice would be to call HO and discuss it with them directly detailing your situation. You do not have to give your name or specific details about where you work and they are obliged to provide you with the correct information relevant to your situation. This way, you can make infor...

Re: No Decision until Courier Picks Up Documents

Hi Chipungu, Caseworkers can be like that sometimes - non-committal on the phone. Try calling again tomorrow and you may get an answer from some1 different. Good luck. I am worried sick and just wanted to confirm if someone has experience this. I phoned in the morning and was adviced that a decision...

Re: Legal Challenge....

Guys, Reply from HO was as expected, they are still reluctant to reverse the illegal changes to ILR for HSMPians who admitted before April-2006 and HO is ready to waste more Tax payer's money yet again. It is not yet publicially mentioned on other forum website but reply is already received on 18-A...

Thanks for the update, javaid. I wonder what happens when this JR is successful as well and we've all made plans based on new extensions? Its a pity the HO does not consider the implications of their actions

Hi Sush,

Do you have an indication of what the time lapse will be between issuing the notice and applying for a JR if the HO does not respond (hopefully sense prevails)? And if it does go to a JR, how long to come before a judge and arguments put forward?
