Bad Move

I wouldn't do that if i was you. The Directive is very silent on rights of Non EEA nationals who are outside the EU. The Home Office are also a bunch of tossers. His chances are better within the EU.

Port of entry

The problem lies with the airlines allowing you to board, because once you get to the port of entry, i dont see anybody refusing you entry. They might want to try their funny business. Just make sure you have a copy of the directive, your RC, Marriage cert and your EU spouse. Fight them all the way,...

Give it a try

For the UK (not Ireland), I wonder if the following works: As far as I understand, >>this<< is an explanation of EEA-rules for consular staff by the homeoffice itself. On page 3 of this paper you will find the following paragraph: Before an Immigration Officer refuses admission to a non-EEA nationa...

Re: What is the longest Ireland will Issue a (Tourist) Visa

Good Morning, does anybody know what the longest time is the Irish will Issue a (tourist-Visa) for? So far we only have ever received 3 months. We are living in Northern Ireland (relocated after the EU1 Fiasco), and still have loads of friends in Ireland who we visit regularly. As a resident of NI ...

Visiting the UK with EU spouse on EU fam 4- RC

When visiting the UK for a 6 day visit, is one protected by the Directive 2004/38/EC. Because its a visit and the EU spouse is not seeking to move there, would applications or requirements be classed under national or EU laws.

Re: That's crime.

People who are getting married on contract basis (fake) are doing wrong but this is not a time to point out any particular country people, i.e India, Pak or Bangla. American, African and others are also doing the same. Women those involve in this are also fully responsible. Why they are making mone...

Thanks CA Funke, what i meant to ask was, what are the options on continuous residency, do you acquire another residency card for another 5 years or some kind of stamp on one's passport.

You can apply for EU 1 immediately after your arrival, after you have registered at the GNIB because you would need to give registration dates on the EU 1 form.
