Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023/4

Does anybody know if they have any ID verification request for the guest of the ceremony ? Would the guest need to provide any sort of documents such as passport , IRP, etc ? Hi I accompanied my husband as a guest at Monday's ceremony in Killarney. No, I wasn't asked for any ID. The ceremony was te...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023/4

Is the email in your junk/spam folder? It might be blocked by your email provider as a junk link. Try moving the email out of junk/spam folder if that is where it is to the normal Inbox. Or maybe there is an 'unblock content' button at the top of the email. Another way would be to forward it to you...

Re: Upcoming Ceremony in 2023/4

No link but a small button for you to click and will direct you to the page and fill in First/Last Name and Nationality. Once submit, you will received an email confirmation to attend the ceremony. I am so sorry, but where is it located/ how does it look? I literally have only “powered by Cvent” bu...

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

Thanks, may I ask what your status was before the "In Progress (NVB) 4 March" ? Mine was "Application submitted to NVB for processing 28 Feb" immediately before "In Progress (NVB) 4 March", and there was NO "Application scheduled for completion" stage. Applic...

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

Is it normal for E-vetting process to stay in ( In Progress (NVB) ) for so long? it's been like that since the 4th March . It is the exactly same case for me too. Any update?? . It seems very strange the status hasn't changed until now! Same for me... It has been in "In progress" for 3 we...

Re: IRP/Stamp 4 for dependent (Children <12 years) of Naturalized Citizen

i read that children with an IRP card or Stamp 4 in their passport are exempted from a visa when they accompany an Irish citizen. Where did you read this? You might be confusing Stamp 4 and Stamp 4EUFam (which you cannot get). Stamp 4EUFam holders do get IRPs even if theyre kids. They can apply for...

Re: How long does it take to get the first time passport application?

Passport Office individually verify the authenticity of each copied naturalisation cert with ISD. If ISD are too busy to reply applicants are required to send the original in to get a passport. If ISD verify then no original needs to be sent. This is the part I don't quite understand. If they still...

Re: E-Vetting Invitation & E-Vetting Process

Just checking: anybody still hasn't received any automatic confirmation email from ISD after submitting the e-vetting form sent on 08, Feb ? One of my friend got it immediately after he submitted the form (which makes sense because I'd imagine it's an AUTOMATIC procedure), but I still got nothing. ...

Re: E-Vetting: format of Application Number

hmmm, I started to think maybe they just mass-sent the e-vetting emails to everybody, probably even to people who they haven't assigned the PersonID yet. Did you just submit your citizenship application very recently ? Of course it's only my speculation. Other more experienced folks on this forum mi...

Re: E-Vetting: format of Application Number

Have you received any acknowledge mail (by post) after you submitted your naturalization application ? In that acknowledge mail there is Person ID and Application No. on the top right corner. My experience is based on paper application. I don't know what is the case for online application , though.

current address in e-vetting invitation form

Hello folks, Just received the e-vetting invitation form today, and I have a simple question to ask/confirm: I live in Dublin, do I need to specify "Co. Dublin" as part of my current address when filling the form? I remember some folks on this forum said previously that they didn't fill in...
