In this case sometimes they leave a number to call back on. But most of the time they reject the witness and send you an email asking for you to send a new witness form in.

The easiest way would be to mail him the form, have him fill out the consent form and send it back. I assume you two are both in good contact?

Yes, in the UK it means estimated time of arrival. It's the prompt on the passport tracker which says "Estimated" and then a date, add a few weeks on from that as they are running quite behind with the sudden influx of passport requests.

One thing I Have noticed which is causing conern, the passport online software has "cropped" my perfectly aligned photo a bit badly. To my eye it seems that I am now "too far down" the image, does anyone think this will result in my application being rejected? I'm a bit desperat...
