Passport Validity Question

Guys, Saw the following in Annex C (Page 8(Eight)) of VAF9 Main form (AUG 2008). Please can you clarify what this means ? Surely my passport need not be valid till 6 months after my tier1 initial visa expires ?? There is no clarification of what is meant by 'intended date of departure from the UK' a...

Previous earnings question - Please help

Hi, I just came back to India from the UK. I plan to apply for Tier1 in November. My previous earnings proofs will look as follows. Need some help as to how to submit the proofs as I believe the rule for calculating earnings based on pro-rata(country where most time spent) is not part of new tier1 r...

hey, one more thing. While I am still in the UK, is there anything I could do (any paper work) which would help me when I apply from India ? I already have IELTS and NARIC certificates. Shall be getting the rest (salary slips, funds proof etc) from India.
Please advise.

I got both the email addresses from this link only. Should be fine then yeah ? If you had a negative experience with them, please share. Better to discuss and get the right information than sending query to the wrong id. Those guys would be handling 1000's of queries so it doesn't matter much for th...

Related issue on previous earnings

Thanks. I have sent the queries to visqry and vfsuk.north@vfs-uk-in.com. I am facing another problem due to the sudden end of my work contract. Two months back my company stopped including the foreign allowance in the Indian payslip and the payslip now looks like if I were just working in India. The...

Funds maintenance Issue

Hi, I have a peculiar issue to get advice for. I will write summary and those who would like to know the details can read below as well .. 1) If I apply for Tier1 from India, do I have to show funds maintained in Indian account or a UK bank account would suffice? Scenario - I have been in the UK for...

Exactly, they have not mentioned regarding the 180 day rule. Infact, I think they have not mentioned anything useful. So could you please advise on the questions that I asked initially ?
Thanks.

Hi, Ok, the above link is not working if you click it. If you add manually a (o) at its end, it does open the link. Heres the correct one. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/applicationforms/settlement/forset0.pdf the version is 06/2008, so they must have updated something though I am not...

Thanks for the links..The 90 day rule is now clear. For the previous earnings, I think my case is slighlty similar to the link above. I have been in the UK since 16 months now so I guess I have to show the allowances and Indian salary in UK terms(without uplift). The new tier1 guidance does not have...

Thanks guys. I have the following queries. Please advise. 1) As far as ILR is concerned, please can the below link be checked ? It seems the 90 day rule applies in the last year and also one could remain outside UK for upto 450 days during the 5 year period. Are there any different rules to get ILR ...
