Thank you. Contacted the number again and instead of option 1, i selected 3. Spoke to a lovely lady who confirmed that the appointment is active in their system and the appointment is confirmed. Thanks for all your help. :D

I had also done the same - got an affidavit from a notary in UK stating that the name on my degree and the name on the passport are the one and the same.
