Re: June 2024 Citizenship Ceremonies naturalisation certificates

Personally I find a regular post super helpful! Coz otherwise just sitting wondering - and mainly worried that once people get the cert through you'll forget about the rest of us still waiting  Seconded! 😅 Also, it will keep the topic 'trending' so that people see it at the top and therefore ...

Re: years of residency combination correct?

You need to demonstrate that you have been resident in Ireland for the required period using 2 documents that meet the 150 points requirements, following the link I provided. The Employment Detail Summary (or P60 pre-2019) is issued for a calendar year, however a document like a rent agreement can b...

Re: years of residency combination correct?

You are definitely overthinking the process, based on our conversation at https://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=348093, and that you have now created a new topic. Basically, you need to have been resident in the Republic of Ireland for 5 years prior to your Citizenship applicati...

June 2024 Citizenship Ceremonies naturalisation certificates

Hello all! I know this is very presumptive given the first ceremony was on 10th June, but starting a topic to track the receipt of certificates with the hope that the Minister's comments at https://www.oireachtas.ie/en/debates/question/2024-05-15/77/ have been implemented. If so, please post when yo...

It is 12 months prior to your application. Note that any absences from the country of more than 70days in a calendar year will need to be explained.

Re: System issue when registering IRP expiration date on Citizenship Certificate Fee form in INIS website?

If my IRP is expired will the system allow me to pay the fees ? It should. No matter how many times I corrected my draft form, it still reversed the IRP expiry dates. Our working assumption is that the Citizenship team counter check with against the IRP card you upload, but we don't know for sure.

Just checking if anyone here has received an invitation to the June Killarney ceremonies, after 'our' system issue. I am obsessively checking my emails since the Upcoming Ceremony 2023/24 started getting updates on Tuesday, but nothing as yet. To be fair, my application was in late 2023 and those wh...

(I'm reposting this since I think my message got deleted for discussing it in the wrong topic) Someone reported that there could be an issue on the INIS website when you follow the instructions to pay and fill the Citizenship Certificate Fee form. It looks like it's reversing the date of your IRP, ...

Re: Number of days I can be out of Ireland without affecting stamp 1G

There should be no impact on your IRP, but remember that you have to be in the country when you apply for the annual renewal. Should you change your mind on applying for citizenship, they question any absence from the Republic of Ireland for 70 days or more during the period of reckonable residence.
