Hi
If anyone has expired IRP and you're waiting for renewal you can still attend the ceremony you just need to bring an email/letter of proof that you applied..

They sent mine back 3 days after emailing them... when you register at the ceremony they ask for travel document and IRP

You can request to have it back.. I sent them email and they returned mine.. you need to get it back because they will ask for your travel document at the ceremony..

I applied in 2021 and only got approval in March 2024...
I even had to go to solicitor for them to process my application a bit faster... but then some people were getting approved within months of applying... I don't get it how the system works tbh..

Yes I sent my travel document but I need it when I renew my IRP they said if I don't have travel document can't collect the ID..

I explained and requested if it can be extended and she said it doesn't work like that..and the next appointment is probably in January😭 Should I just go to the ceremony and see if they accept my GNIB or postpone it?
