Re: Naturalisation questions - Married to British citizen

That makes sense, thank you!! I did get my SARU after 3 weeks of requesting and it seems like it has everything I need. I just have a final question now regarding the referees. My photo was attached to the referee form I sent to both of them. However, one of them printed the PDF with the photo and r...

Re: ILR (SET M) questions

For anyone reading this in future. I did attend biometrics on the 22/06 and my ILR was granted on the 24/06 😊

Thank you so much for the advice and helpful tips!

Re: Naturalisation questions - Married to British citizen

If you request a detailed SAR specifying you want information about when you crossed the border that will be enough, no need for other evidence. Thank you so much! I've done as you instructed - that was so helpful! The only thing is I saw it counts as a UKVI application, I hope it is okay to have s...

Re: ILR (SET M) questions

The date of the decision will be considered ! How to apply early and benefit from the date of the ILR decision ? Hi zimba, thank you for coming back to me! I used a super-priority service, so the decision could be made on 23/06/2024, in theory. I only complete 5 years on 12/07/2024. Would they stil...

Re: Naturalisation questions - Married to British citizen

Hi, Thank you so much for your reply. You made it sound quite simple, so I'm already stressing out less about it. Just regarding the proof of British citizenship, would the first page of his British passport be enough? If he naturalised, you need to submit his naturalisation certificate, else biome...

Re: ILR (SET M) questions

Hi everyone, I’m quite worried now as I think I’ve done something wrong with my application. My 5 years anniversary is on the 12/07/2024. Therefore, my 5yr - 28 days is on the 14/06/2024. I applied yesterday online (01/06/2024), paid for my appointments and uploaded the documents. My biometrics app...

Naturalisation questions - Married to British citizen

Hi everyone, I hope you are well. Next month I'll be applying for the ILR and I hope to use the super priority service, so I can get an answer very soon. Is it okay to use the same documents I used for the ILR for the naturalisation? My main concern is most are dated the end of May. And I'll apply f...

Hi,
Thank you for your reply! Sorry, by entry stamp I meant the passport stamp I got the day I entered the UK.

ILR (SET M) questions

Hi everyone, I hope you are having a nice day. I’ve been reading a lot on this forum lately as I’m doing my ILR application, SET (M), on my own, and I’m slightly apprehensive about it. I have a few questions (or more like looking for confirmation) that would be great to get your thoughts on, please....
