So it seems at the moment it is taking just over 12 months for an application to be processed; assuming no delays due to "additional information" being required. The DFA website is still stating 9 months for processing. indeed that also what Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs staet...

Some applicants' report delays of 3-6 months when additional docs are requested. But hope your timeline is more accurate
