I’m working in New Zealand on work visa.
I love to settle in NZ and interested to apply for Permanent Visa (PR).
What are the advantages for getting PR? Pls advice me.

My H1B visa got approved in year 2007 and I have not yet gone for stamping.
Now I’m planning to go for stamping.
1) My approval is still valid for stamping?
2) If I got H1B stamping, How long does it valid?

That's correct on both counts. A NZ passport requires 5 years residency as a permanent resident (I believe) in order to be able to apply for citizenship.
