I think that should be fine . When we applied our initial T1 leave all the 50k funds shown into our joint account and we did got the visa with that account . Just make sure it shows your name clearly on bank statements.Its same as you can use joint account for the maintenance also .

Shell we generate new one according to that with hourly rate and number of hrs as it was agreed with employee on contact and actual hrs worked . My accountant will be able to amend that ....
