My wife was approved (no doubts there, as she is Canadian born and working full-time as am I) and now our lives can finally go forward :) Just a few tips for...

So, we sent the application back in Jan, and didn't hear from anyone at UKBA regarding the COA. We thought to wait for a month and then contact them and ask. We had sent the applicatio...

Thank you so much for your replies. It really has helped us a great deal! As for the time period of receiving the COA, I see that it is a case by case basis. In most cases, people have received it within 1 - 2 weeks no problem. I hope we fall into that category!

Thank you for your helpful reply! I just wanted to confirm how long it's been taking lately for the CoA to arrive? And should we include a cover letter explaining the reason for leaving the Employment section blank? (i.e. not having a job yet). The application also states that we can send in another...

Delays in Processing EEA1 and EEA2 at the same time!

Upon reading the facts on the UK Border Agency site, we've found that is not necessary to apply for the EEA1...it is completely voluntary. Is this information correct? We were a little confused as we are in the process for applying for the EEA2 and based on several cases on this site, many of you ar...

Yes, we´re aware that she can legally stay in the UK, but will she be able to work? I mean, she doesn´t want to just sit at home, and we really don´t want to take the risk and go to the UK to find that she can´t work for a certain length of time because she doesn´t have the paperwork proving th...
