Yes she only took current employers letter - that too (caseworker mentioned) because she was working from India for a while during this time. But please remember each case worker is different...It is clearly written in the application form to get these documents...so I think it is best to take all d...

Thank you Vinny.. Does the following mean that he loses Indian citizenship, if me and my wife take up British passport in future? (But mother will remain on PR though...she is not keen to take up British citizenship). Renunciation 5.1 If an adult makes a declaration of renunciation of Indian citizen...

I have done a bit of research on this forum and my understanding is that he is already a Brit...

Please search on this forum for PIO - you may get information

Vinny,
Could you please let me know the rights of kids not born in UK but father has ILR? Do they qualify for ROA or should they apply for dependant visa from India?

Thank you vinitmanu.

I don't think it will be rejected but if it happens then my wife would not be able to travel to India and there will be nobody to support us here. So, I wanted to apply early so she has enough time to leave to India in a worst case scenario.

Thank you uksettlement. Yes, it is ILR. I just talked to HMRC on phone and she mentioned that ILR may be rejected. I asked her if I could apply on compassionate grounds and she mentioned that she could understand but the case worker may not see it that way as many people choose to have babies here. ...

Inviting In-laws for 6 months - question about accomodation

Gurus,

My wife is carrying and I would like to invite my in-laws. I currently rent a two bed house. Will home office have an issue with this? Will they consider it as overcrowding.

Also, do I need an NOC from the landlord?

Thank you Guru, It is not an over-draft. I had a balance of over £2K in current account. ICICI has a daily limit of £750.00 (for fraud purposes I suppose) but they mentioned they can up it to £1500 on request (I requested for both online and merchant). I did this and they confirmed it was all done b...

Gurus, I have my PEO shortly. I am showing only 11 payslips as I have not received the latest statement from my business bank. In this case, how should I fill the below section please (as they ask me to tick if I am claiming for 12 months). Should I tick and then give 11 months dates in A4? **** cut...

Caluclating Date for PR

Hello Gurus, Sorry this question must have come up many times but could you please look into mine as well - I just want to be doubly sure before I apply. HSMP valid from 31/01/2008 Entered UK on 08/03/2008 Tier 1 valid until 23/02/2013 I suppose I can apply for PR from 03/01/2013 (I had originally c...

FLR(M) for my wife on individual Tier1

Hello Friends, Me and my wife are on individual Tier1 visas. I am eligible to apply for PR in Jan2013 and my wife in Aug2013. Due to few reasons, my wife cannot be here in July/August and I thought I will apply for FLR(M) for her. My question is: Do I need to first get my PR and then apply for FLR(M...
