Thank you.

So the 7-month period from 23rd january 2009 to 12th august 2009, during which my appeal was in progress would count towards the 5 year qualifying period? Is that definitely so?

If you are getting a letter from your employer which states your gross and net salary for the entire claimed period and the net salary matches exactly with the entries in your bank statements, then you dont even need payslips.

I think you will have to get a letter from your employer as the net amounts for all the months have to match with the bank statement amounts. Wait for another day if you have to. Dont take the chance!

No theres no minimum requirement.

Looks like you havent taken the trouble of reading the guidelines. Anyway heres the relevant part:

An applicant may claim for a period of earnings of less than 12 months if they have earned sufficient funds to claim the necessary points.

Yes. As long as they are 12 consecutive months.

And actually the bank statement doesnt even need to have any address on it

I think the phone number is useless and so is their email. Your best bet is fax. (I can't recollect the fax No. right now). Get the fax No and call for taking postal address. Then write a letter to them. Fax it. Send a hard copy as well. Say the following points (elaborate): (1) you have been calli...
