Re: NTL BRP - anyone else still waiting since February?

Hi ElleDee, I've updated on my thread but not sure if you would see it. We have received the documents back that we sent, and there was a letter saying the BRP will be sent shortly. I hope you have heard back also.
Good luck

Re: BRP Timelines - how long?

Just to update, we had a letter yesterday (was out so collected today) saying that the BRP will arrive shortly, the package contained all the documents and passports we had sent, so hopefully the BRP itself will arrive soon.
Hope you all have had some luck also.

Re: BRP Timelines - how long?

Unfortunately we are not in a position to be able to withdraw the application, he cannot work without it now that his ILR is in his old passport. We had 7 weeks earlier this year where he couldn't work until we got acknowledgement of the BRP. Very stressful. Tooting, I'm not sure if you need BRP for...

Re: BRP Timelines - how long?

Hi, sorry to hear you are in the same boat! We have still heard nothing so far since him doing biometrics. I have suggested he give them a call. I thought it would be pretty quick since he already has ILR for 10 years now. We need the BRP before we can apply for citizenship as they will only allow o...

Re: ilr transfer to brp

We have applied for my husband's NTL BRP in February. We are still awaiting his BRP outcome, however have had his biometrics done soon after applying. It seems the time it takes differs greatly. We were hoping for a quick turnaround but not happening so far. Have heard nothing since biometrics lette...

Re: Urgent Biometrics help to enable me to start a new job

Little offtopic question! How come you haven't already done your Life in the UK test before your ILR? Wondering if things changed since hubby got his as he did his before he applied for ILR. Sure hope he doesnt have to do it again! Though we do still have the books!

Re: Urgent Biometrics help to enable me to start a new job

Hi mollybird, Have you managed to get anywhere today? My husband called the number and was given the one to pass to employer for them to call. We have pretty much got nowhere really. Despite numerous phone calls to the agency worker and chasing, chasing, chasing, we are no further forward for anothe...

Re: Urgent Biometrics help to enable me to start a new job

She then also gave me a number for the agency to check and explained that they can use my passport number that there is no need to wait for the letter. Which I have them. Hopefully I'll hear back tomorrow. Oh that is fab to hear! Hopefully he will get to speak to someone tomorrow aswell then and we...

Re: Urgent Biometrics help to enable me to start a new job

Spoke to someone at Home Office today and they told me they no longer send this letter out but I'll get a letter after 4-6 weeks to do my biometrics. So yes I'm totally in a predicament and have no idea how to get out of it. We have also tried to contact HO. We called but cant get through anywhere ...

Re: BRP Card processing time (NTL application)

We have recently applied for NTL for my husband. He was working and his passport ran out, they asked him to renew it so he did and then they have issues with the visa not being in the new passport so we had to apply for BRP. All the while my husband is not allowed to return to work. So it's proving ...

Re: Urgent Biometrics help to enable me to start a new job

Hi, My husband works through an agency, and they had him renew his passport. He did so, and now they wont let him return to work. It's been over 4 weeks since he was at work. We have no money coming in now either. After getting his new passport they said they need his visa in it (ILR) but obviously ...

ILR and claiming benefits (urgent)

Hi, my Husband got his ILR a short while ago. We currently live with my family, but this is set to change as they are moving but my Husband and I decided to take on this house as we do not wish to move to where they are going. With this, we are now wondering if he could get any kind of benefit such ...
