Generally the date of application is the date they(HO) received the application and this would normally also be the day payment was deducted. If you have used credit card date of deduction might show 2 working days later on the statement. But the date of application will still be the one when HO rec...

Does that mean there will be no means of contacting them for the next few days if they are moving their office?

Just of the phone- just off the phone- spoke to a very helpful guy from HO- CS. Asked for my referance no and checked my status- no decision yet.
