Any non-EU Nationality holder is considered as international student regardless of present visa status....so psw dependent is also an international student. well that's not correct. there are number of circumstances in which a non-EU nationality holder could be treated as a home fees payer for exam...

I agree with AUHS, unless they have reinstated the appeals implementation unit in the last 6 months, I don't believe that it exists anymore in a central capacity. If an appeal is allowed you write to the dept dealing with your case as AUHS has advised. Shahzad the contact details that you posted wer...

your friend overstayed from 1st November 2010 to when he left the country on 22nd January 2011. The fact that he made an application on 19th November 2010 doesn't mean that he stopped overstaying at that point as the application was made out of time. Therefore the decision to refuse entry clearance ...

UKBA ILR and EEA sections are different and do not share info as far as...

yes BRP arrives separately from passport etc. Usually you would get the passport and covering letter first from UKBA via royal mail but sometimes it is the other way around which appears to be the case for you. There are no guarantees though so until you have written confirmation/the BRP in your han...

Yes it's likely to be your biometric residence card. If this is the case then your application has been granted so there is nothing else you need to do for your application to be processed as it has already been processed. Your passport and other original documents will be returned separately by roy...

BACKGROUND INFO: 1. On the payment details page is it the date of birth of the person who is paying the fee that is required? 2. In the applicant's details section in 1.4 it asks for the full name of the applicant. To me full name means forename, middle names and surname but is that what they mean ...

Paragraph 320 7b refers to application for entry clearance or leave to enter only. The mandatory bans only apply to applications made outside the UK. Paragraph 245z of the immigration rules sets out the requirements for leave to remain under psw. Para 245z f) is the requirement i was quoting from - ...

Firstly it's not correct that your friend did not require a cas when he made his tier 4 application. All applicants for tier 4 need a cas. You can't get a cas if you have completed your studies and so your friend should've returned home to wait for his results. Unfortunately if if returns home and a...

You have a strong chance of suceeding under article 8 particularly if the only reason your husband was refused is because you are not settled in the UK.

Yes you could apply on form FLR(O) and argue that you meet all of the requirements of paragraph 295D of the immigration rules but for the fact that you do not have leave to remain. You could also apply on FLR(M) and make the same argument. If successful then you be most likely get 3 years discretion...
