Re: language requirement

I don't mean to be rude but there are at least 2 guidance documents in plain sight on the homeoffice website that answer your question and even on the form where they ask for English Language proof of proficiency will answer your question in a heartbeat. well may be it is still rude when instrucito...

My current extended Tier 1 visa expires on 16/03/14. As I have a period greater then 90 days between entry clearance and entering the UK, I ...

Re: Is it common main applicant gets BRP days before dependa

Dear all, We applied the ILR and got approved at Glasgow PEO. Thanks all for your help here. My BRP has already arrived, however after couple of days my wife still hasn't got hers. Is this common? Previously when we applied for T1 G and dependant extension by post. the BRPs arrived at the same time...

Not sure why people are so keen on Solihull PEO. They definitely do not check criminal records before taking payment. They clearly say that you will get ILR provided criminal checks are fine. They said that to me and to everyone else. So, yes, if you have doubt on other things, try Solihull, you can...

After that don't bother to post a thread about their experiences. That's the world we live in!! For me I got my ILR at Solihull this Dece...

I know 2 of my friends who are active members of this forum and got ILR via Sheffield. They did not write an update here because 1) They do not feel it is some sort of achievement that people need to write about and more importantly 2) They did not have anything unique in their cases whereby an upda...

Her Tier 1 Dependant visa needs to be changed to FLR(M). Tier 1 (dependant) visa will be invalid as soon as you get ILR.

Previous rule was that she has to spend 2 years with you in UK before she is eligible for ILR. This has probably recently changed to 5 years - not sure when from this is effective.

Just a word of caution for Solihull advising regarding dependent visa. One of my friend got ILR and applied for changing his dependent wife's visa from Tier -1 dependent to FLR(M). Solihull advised not to do this and said Tier 1(dependent) can continue. He was happily praising Solihull like anything...

Mr Patil, First thing to ask yourself is : how would UKBA know that you were on Indian payroll? They do not ask for payslips for all the 5 years. I am assuming this transfer did not happen within the period you have to show your payslips for. What gives them any reason to doubt you were not on UK Pa...

Bank statements wont help much. Case workers are not interested in bank statements. However since you have council tax letters you should be fine. Can not imagine why you would say you moved to a single house etc as that would clearly show you have not stayed together for last 2 years !!
