Can anyone please tell me if this test has a validity period? I could not find anything in the guideline.. If I am eligible for PR in December, can I take the test in May or June and still use the result?

I strongly trust P60 is not mandatory.. it used be 2-3 years back and people still have not forgotten that rule.

it is a weird case - everyone seems to be worried about P60 when it is not required by the policy.

Can anyone show a policy statement to prove that what I am saying is wrong?

I still trust P60 is an old requirement which people are carrying with them. The existing policies never require P60 - it is required only if you want to use P60 to prove your earning which hardly any one uses because P60 start and end date is for a restricted period. Can anyone refer to any link in...

Re: Is maintainance fund that big an issue?

Hi, I always had this question in my mind..... My questions is why do we struggle for maintaince fund. If we are working full time or as contractors why do we struggle to have money in our account. Even if we work three months we can easily have around 15,000 in case a contractor or 7000 case full ...

you should be alright in postal application but in PEO you have little chance to succeed. At best they would convert your case to postal - unnecessary wastage of money.

Re: Early extension of Tier 1 general visa

Hello, I obtained my Tier 1 general visa in May 2010 under the 2 + 3 years plan. Accordingly, my extension is due in May 2012. Prior to May 2010 I have spent about 2 years in the UK on a Work Permit. For the sake of piece of mind and proper planning, I wish to secure an extension as soon as I can. ...

Its a bit odd to get extention for three months in advance. As you said its normal to post the application 2-3 months in advance. As far I have noticed, home office is deciding within 30 Days. Just to clarify, that does not always happen and it is perfectly acceptable for a visa to be issued from the date the decision made rather than expiry. The rule is very clear atleast in Croydon now: 1) Apply within 2 months of expiry - visa from date of expiry 2) before 2 months - visa from the dat...

I read many posts in this forums regarding PEO- In Person process and found that most of the cases of self employed applicants takes longer time. I wanted to know whether any salaried applicant also suffered with longer waiting time. i.e if applying from only one source of income (Job) by PEO is th...
