Mostly Asia and Turkey, so not in the EU :( I looked at partner visas but they are all for long term stays and I just want to travel in Europe with my husband :( We live on the edge of Europe (Turkey). What would be the best visa for this situation? Merhaba Akta, I sort of think that after the marr...

In hindsight she could have saved the visas fees and apply for a British passports from South Africa. I wonder why the British Consulate in SA didn't spot that. I mean, it is not rocket science, if the kids of a British citizen who was born in the UK are asking visas, shouldn't that raise at least ...

In the general case, as far as I know they can pass on their citizenship if their kids are born in the UK, and they may pass on their citizenship on other cases as well (i.e. registration under sectio...

From your other posts in the EEA section, it seems that your PR was confirmed following an undocumented exemption of CSI. If you are referring to the exemption for those who asked a RC before a certain date, I thought that was documented. I don't have a link handy now, but I sort of remember readin...

In many languages (French, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, ...) the acronym for EU is UE. In some languages is even more unexpected (e.g. AB in Turkish!) for the English speaker.

I can see why you suggested the AAE3 form now, but I still don't understand why I wouldn't need it and why my partner would. Abstracting from your specific cases, I suppose that may be because if a case is straightforward, say an EEA citizen has got the last consecutive 6 years of P60 and whatelse,...
