What's after 5 yrs Residence Card

Hello All. My friend has a 5-year Residence Card (RC) as a non-EEA spouse of an EEA national. But, they have had loads of gaps and absences from the UK during those 5 yrs. Therefore, she would not qualify for Permanent Residence (PR) as they both have not exercised treaty rights for the entire perio...

Thanks John for your input.

I went through the EEA4 form and there is no mention of Public Funds disclaimer. Does this mean that claiming benefits (if they qualify) in general by EEA national or their non-EEA family members does not affect future applications for PR.

non-EEA Residence card holder

Hi all. This post is just to help a friend.

He's on 5 yrs NON-EEA Residence Card married to an EEA national. The wife (EEA) is already claiming Housing benefits as a single mother. Can he add him name to the claim or would that negatively affect his PR application.

Thanks

Re: Tier 1 extension - problems with income requirement

Is it true that for extension applications, money earned outside the UK can not be considered for claimed earnings? I hold the view that one can use money earned outside UK, however you can't left up. Please advise. Thanks I don't think the extra income which you claimed outside UK while living insi...

Re: Urgent help

The 3 months requirement of maintaining £800 in your case would end on 7 June considering you have made the deposit on 8 March. I would not advise you submit an incomplete Tier1 (PSW) application without enclosing your bank statements showing the required funds. This will only bring you a refusal. ...

Re: Maintainance rule

Dear all I understand that you need to maintain £2800 pounds for three months in your account in order to apply a PSW visa from outside UK. My question is, is there any discretion in this rule? i.e. if balance is not maintained for the whole three months and all other conditions are met. Many than...

Bankruptcy

Do applicants have to disclose bankruptcy when applying for settlement? In other words, does bankruptcy count as a civil judgement or a conviction?

Thanks
