as long as your account is in your name or if you are using it as a joint account in that case your and your dependent's name
It does not mattery where you have the funds though if you are in UK it is recommended to have them in UK.

It should be fine as long as your payslip shows exact net amount deposited in your bank you are fine.
Just Highlight in your bank statement and you are good to go.

If you don't wish to claim for any particular month you don't have to just simply use your cover letter and explain you will be claiming for 11 months and a detailed breakdown. You are switching your immigration Category from PSW to GHSW (General Highly Skilled Worker Visa)
If you score enough points based on the new rules you should be fine.

They do not ask for your attendence @ Uni they are only concerned about your award.

well an alternative is if you can be a joint account holder but I am not sure if it would be possible to add you to the same account or you d have to open another account.

You can work whatever you wish to unless its written on your visa stamp (Cannot work as Doctor in Training) as long as you earn enough money to extend your visa etc you are fine.

But it may well change in near future.
