PR is automatic, you do not have to apply for it, so there would be no declaration to the Home Office. I know that PR is automatic, but why do you think anybody makes an EEA3 application? There are reasons for needing proof of PR, e.g. for demonstrating your settled status in order to assist your f...

It's pretty clear cut with regards to a BC application, however the question here is more about the application which you are planning to make now, which is not BC, it's EEA PR (EEA3). If you were able to obtain your proof of EEA PR, then chances are that by the time you got to applying for BC you m...

Do you mind adding this to the October timelines topic so that others who applied at the same time can keep up-to-date with your application's progress. Actually, you may not be aware, but you are one of the first posters with an application received by the UKBA on October 24th who already had their...

You only have right of abode as a Commonwealth citizen if you qualify under the rules given here. Right of Abode doesn't apply to EEA nationals, whose rights are outlined separately under the EEA regulations.

Ring them today, they searched my name with DOB and confirmed that I am not even in the system. Advise: Next year shall be on the system and then they shall take the money from my account. By the way I applied on 23/10/2012.  Interesting. So it looks as though one is not 'on the system' ...

What is the context of your question? What are you currently applying for? Can you quote the clause that you believe might effect you? If it's BC and you are worried about the Good Character Requirement, then I assure you it has nothing to do with employment status or employability. It's about makin...

almost as though we were applying for Naturalization, instead of Naturalisation.

In seriousness, I've done a search on the forum and only found one previous discussion here. It's rather old, but the same story.

Lots of other people from earlier in October have had their approvals, but the approval you've quoted above is a bit of an outlier at the moment. Other than dsds, the latest approvals were for applications received on October 22nd (marina2811 and londonabc) and the only fees deducted we've heard of ...

Hi guys, a quick question, not sure if anyone else came across this kind of pickle, I have obtained a Bachelor degree from university in the UK, however, my advisor "kindly" laminated it, would it make it invalid for my Naturalisation application? (this was 6 years ago.) I have previously...

Re: Is that gonna help my non-EU husband if I become BC?

So if I understand correctly from 14.10.2014(our 5th wedding anniversary) my husband would be eligible to have his automatic PR. True Literally the day after I could apply for my BC which should be a quick process because my case is very straight forward. If this is just about doing things asap the...

Thank you Jumbo and Jotter for you reply. I just wanted to know based on what you made that conclusion. Hi fulcrum1978, I believe from your timeline that your application received the UKBA on Oct 24th. We've had 24 people in total so far posting on this forum that their applications were received on the 24th or 25th and none of them have had their fees debited yet. So your situation is 'normal', no ne...
