I also would like to confirm that the Naturalisation certificate is now taking only 5 weeks. I sent mine in the last week of Feb and I received it today.

Well - As far as I know you need to have a re-entry visa, Having Stamp 5 on Garda card doesnt exepmt you from that requirement. One of my friend got approval this week. He applied on 5th Decmber 2005.

I applied on Dec15th 2006. Was asked for PCC on 8th of August 2008 and submitted it on 9th August 2008. Called the office roughly after a monthn and was told - "Received your correspondance and we need to complete some internal checks". Finally received the LTR today.
