Dear friends, I need bit of information, iam applying for ILR and I am currently on Tier1(general) for 10 months and previous to that I was on WP for 4 years 1 month. What I wanted to know is will they check for your maintenance funds while applying for PR. I know they say you should be economically...

exactly, thats what even i am thinking... because in the application they are asking the employer letter if you are applying as WP holder.... but in my case its a mix of 4 hrs WP + 1 yr Tier1(General)... so iam just wondering will they ask a letter from employer for that WP period....

thanks for the advice.
i have converted to Tier1(general) from WP and I have not informed my employer about that. hence i am not sure whether they will give the letter if i ask them now..

Hi all,
iam applying for my ILR on basis of 4 yrs WP + 1yr Tier1(general)
do I have to produce any letter from my employer??
because in the application form they are only asking letter from employer if you are applying as work permit holder

i called 0870 606 7766 today morning to book an appointment on 18Aug09 but they said nothing is available everything is booked....don't know what to do.

thats great, thanks for that info. in my case my wife was with me in UK who came as WP dependent on 22-May-07. and she went to india on 03-Oct-08 and after that i converted to Tier1(General) on 11-Oct-08. and she came to UK on 03-Mar-09 as Tier1(General) dependent. hence there is a 4 months break on...

Dear All, Just need some clarification on number of days absence for dependent when applying for ILR along with the main applicant(tier 1 general). will the HO see or check the number of days a dependent is out of the country.

section 7.15

I got a confirmation e-mail from Chennai BHC that section 7.15 related to Sponsoship details need not be filled by Tier1(general) applicants or their dependets as they are related to Tier 2 applications.
