Do I need to 4 or 5 years for ILR (JR or Not?)

Hi, I am a little confused about my ILR Qualification criteria such as 4/5 years, JR or not, LUK Test or not? I got my HSMP Letter in September 2007 since then I got my Tier 1 in June 2009. The HSMP Letter says "...... Against the qualifcying criteria - From 5 December 2006." Do I have to ...

Re: Absences since first entering the UK

Hi, I'm trying to fill in the Set (O) form in the condition of 10 year long residence but I'm having difficulties in completing the section where it says "absences since first entering the UK". I go home every summer and I take short holidays (5 days or so) in Europe from time to time and...

Re: Filling New SET O Form

For (3) you can perhaps show some utility bills on her name (if you have any) and for the same period you can show some which are on your name. This would indicate you were living on the same address. One eg. would be is NHS card. Council Tax bill. (even mobile phone bill), Voting card which gets se...

I have seen few cases on this forum about people's decision has been delayed (for the same day service) becouse they were out of work. It does sounds unfair and there is nothing in the policy document which suggest that you should be in the employment when you apply for the ILR. (You should be actively looking for work, which I believe you were doing). I think you have a strong case for you here. Hi PSDesai, Thanks a lot. Yes, I w...

Hi psdesai don't think contract job is an option as long as you can show / prove that the contract is going on or will last for a considerable amount of time say for e.g. 3 months. They don't want to be granting ILR to some one with say a week's contract and then after a week, he / she will start r...

I think they just want to double check your salary with a company letter. That is already their in my P60 but still she requested a letter from employer. I think you don't need to worry about your salary going up or down as long you are able to get point and pass the 75 mark requirement. Thanks for...
