my wife got the letter with details of ceremony timings, route map and other things like reservation desk that she needs to attend in the ceremony hall etc.

Anybody got information about september cermony timings?

My wife got a letter on 1 september asking her to confirm if she will be available on 29/30 sep for oath in rathmines. She replied to the letter but didn't receive any further information about the timings of the ceremony.

She applied on 19 Jan 2009.
Additional docs : May 2011
Confirmation letter asking to send 950 E : Jul 5 2011
We were on holidays in July/Aug so sent the 950E draft on Aug 26 2011
Received the ceremony letter on Sep 1 2011.

September ceremonies are on 29/30 september at Cathal Brugha Barracks in Rathmines.my wife got the letter asking her to confirm if she is available to attend the ceremony on any of these dates.

No 9jeirean, what StrongBow said is right. She has to wait for 3 years from the day her spouse naturalized to get the status of an Irish Spouse.

Yes, I think UK visitor/tourist visa is not free for EU spouses as schengen visa. As far I know EU spouses need to apply for EEA Family Permit to visit UK. The EEA Family Permit process is not so straight forward. Anybody has an experience with this?

I've applied in Nov 2005 on basis on 5 yrs residency, sent affidivits in May 2008, got approval on Oct 10 2008, sent court declaration n fees on Oct 30 2008 and received Certificate of naturalisation on 17 Nov 2008.

oh ok, i'm not aware of this. So it means if i get stamp now(whenever i get the ltr approval) or in March2009 its the same for me. only thing is i need to pay 150 euros for gnib card 3 months earlier if get the stamp in dec 2008.
