I did single sided. The scanner that they at the VFS centre are pretty good they scan double sided paper. Sorry dont think it is mandatory, i confirmed with a qualified immigration lawyer he said that it is not mandatory, home office may ask for it so he usually recommend to include it but not the mandatory thing. 2. I did at Manchester centre. No appointment required. I tried uploading first but then decided against it. And removed the ones which I uploaded. Then went to the VFC manchester centre. Better to have it as the supporting document (when you upload) have a section for VAF II. It is repetitive but better to include as i have done this as well.

Make the two sets ready i.e. a set of originals and a set of copies. I am submitting the documents in UK. What was your experience? If I remember correctly you uploaded the docs yourself isnt it? May be there is a difference when you go to the vfs centres in UK vs uploading ?

All of my documents are in pdf format.

To be honest I have now given up on uploading my self. Don't think it is a good idea to upload on a system which is not stable. I am planning to go to the vac centre in manchester to submit/get scanned the docs in the next week.

Thanks CR001, just tried a document which is less than 6mb, i.e. 5.9 mb. Still I am getting the same error.
