Dear Zeeshan,

No you need not show maintenance funds for your dependents when you apply for yourself. You can at a later point when applying for dependent visa for your dependents show maintenance funds for them.

You may request for a travel date which should be within 90 days from the date of your application.

It is entirely upto you. You can apply from the VFS office in Canada or you can travel back to India and then apply from a VFS office in India. The Tier 1 will be valid from the date from which you request in your application, which can't be beyond 3 months from the date of application.

There is no time limit to enter the country as such, you can enter as long as the visa is valid.
