Sorry, are you asking how long we have been waiting since we received the letter to supply additional documents (P21, bank statements, etc.)?

So, for example, if I received the letter asking additional documents in September, I should reply "2 months".

Is my interpretation corect?

I don't know the answer to your question... But may I ask you, how long did you have to wait for your appointment with the district court? Did you go to a court in Dublin or outside Dublin. Some people in the other citizenship thread are quoting wait times of about 2-3 months for an appointment in D...

Maybe a silly question, but just to be on the safe side ... Mendo and Last Man Standing: Did you change address? Did you write to DoJ updating your new address? After reading the Parliamentary Questions, it looks like some people just forget to keep DoJ up to date with their addresses and the DoJ ca...

Friends who have completed the whole naturalisation process (up to the issuing of the naturalisation certificate) have told me they were never requested to present original documents. Copies were the only thing needed. I think that is why we sign the application before a solicitor/commissioner for o...

If I'm not mistaken, although it's not official, this actually exists in "Irish" English - and it's called "yee". Most Irish say it this way, sometimes (of course not officially) it can even be found in writing :D The "ye" pronoun is actually an archaic pronoun in Engl...

That's a very interesting point LuasPassenger, and could explain why it varies for different people. I wonder how we can go about verifying it. Is there anything in freedom of information act that can force them to tell you whether they do it or not? I don't know why it varies for different people....
