ILR for children

Dear All,

My cousin will be going to apply the ILR but cannot apply for his wife at the same time. This is because she has some unspent court conviction and would be applying for FLR. Can he apply ILR for his children along with him or they need to apply for FLR as well.

Best Regards

Date of application is the date you post (using royal mail) so you should be fine with the old form AFAIK.

Hi,

I am in the same situation where my wife had a different surname before marriage. However marriage certificate shows new surname and all the passports shows new surname.

I have got an affidavit for the change of name for my wife. Would that be sufficient to provide?

Thanks,

I have another query on VAF 10. Section 7.13 of VAF10 asks "If the main applicant is living in the UK what permission do they have to stay there?". What should be the answer (Tier 1 or Blank) if the Main Application is still staying in the home country and had gone to the UK just for coupl...

Neither Policy Guidance nor VAF10 guide is asking for this. However, when I google, I see that almost everybody is scrambling to provide a accommodation proof and most of the people provide tenancy agreement. I can not provide as I am yet to fly for UK while I am applying for dependent visa for my w...

One additional question - What could be the proof of accommodation in this case? Would the hotel booking suffice?

Thanks for the help.
