Re: Can I apply depedent visa for my parent to stay with me

She needs to require help with daily tasks, such as washing, dressing and going out. You then need to show that you can't afford to hire help nearby (the unwillingness to hire help isn't good enough) and then you need to show that you CAN afford to take care of her without recourse to public funds o...

Re: Income and Expenditure - family visitor visa

I'm not sure what the issue with the questions is ... write the correct answers. How much are they going to spend on the trip ... that should be easy Total amount of money available for the trip ... well ... how much do they have? and then 0 for the accommodation And the living expenses - well - tha...

Highly unlikely to succeed. All you'll do is waste your time and money on it. There'll be lawyers who'll say they can get it for you - but ask them for case references - I doubt you'll find any.

Re: i missed my flight !! am i breaking the law now??

A 3 day overstay is unlikely to result in a ban - and, indeed, highly unlikely to result in a deportation. The most that would happen at the airport is that immigration might have a word and hand you some forms. In the event this happens - you'd need to apply for a formal visitor visa before returni...

Re: Parents general visa refused

Your only option is to reapply, put the correct information and include a covering letter as to why the details are different. But I'd be sceptical if I were the ECO - it's pretty hard to make a mistake such that you overstate someone's income by 150%. You should expect a second refusal citing decep...

Don't fill out SU07/12 - it's not required.

Just write the letter.

Interesting that they are citing those timescales - I wasn't aware they were back in formal guidance. In theory - yes - the date you put is the right date. The problem you have is this: 1) You admit the purpose of the application is childcare. The application is declined. OR 2) You don't admit the p...

Neither of these threads has a useful thread title - so we may as well stick to the other one where you have replies - I'll post there.

Mods - can I suggest locking this one?

Re: Refusal on the basis of salary - please kindly advise.

You can only use the last completed tax year. So based on that - it's not a valid application. Reapply using the following tax year (2013/14). That is not correct. Under category G, OP is entitled to your the average of the last tax year and the current. True - but not helpful to our OP who only ha...

Re: Refusal on the basis of salary - please kindly advise.

Appeal = wait for months, no certainty of result Reapply with this year's tax = shorter time and more certainty. I doubt you'll succeed. You submitted 10 payslips with a gross amount of £1600. That's £16000 over 10 months - they don't annualise that - it's just £16,000. I'm not sure how they got to ...

Re: Refusal on the basis of salary - please kindly advise.

Who are you working for as a company director? Yourself or a larger limited company? How many shareholders and directors are there and who are they? On the salary - if you are self employed as a company director (with some caveats) then you can only submit income from that last tax year - on the pay...

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Yes - but not all banks will do that. They might produce a print off sheet in the bank with the transactions on and certify that - but you have to be careful that all the relevant details requested by Appendix FM-SE are on the sheet.

Re: I want to apply spouse visa for my wife

It's amazing how uninformed some people can be on this. (Not directed at you!) The conditions for refusal on overstaying (typically 320(7a), (7b) etc) do not apply to spouse visas. There is a 'catch all' ban - 320(11) - which is a discretionary ban but only applies to aggravated circumstances - e.g....

Wow ... when you last posted about this you were concerned about the life she would have in the UK (he "treats you like a slave") and you were telling us he was violent toward you.

Now you want to help her get over here.

I won't help in this.

She can stay for up to the length of her entry stamp or the expiry date on her visa - which ever comes first.

People are allowed to change their mind once they get here.

It depends.

If your TA has no restriction on other people living in the property - then you don't need the letter. If it does - you do.

How long is the sentence for?

And the answer to the second question (Tax) is that is depends on whether the rep from UKBA has bothered to look that information up prior to arrival. If it's relevant - they are likely to have checked.

Re: I want to apply spouse visa for my wife

Unless you have children together, simply marrying here won't make a private life application any more likely to succeed - especially as you still have significant ties to Pakistan and thus is can be argued that you both relocate to Pakistan to live. Providing she is simply an overstayer and that sh...
