You can apply for Jan 2012, but if you manage to get back into job by then may be you can delay your application based on the new earning figures you get ,so that you still have enough earning capacity at the time of application in later dates.

Is this going to be a problem? I have received a letter for my biometric appointment and they have spelt my name wrong. Can I fix it on the day or do I have to send a letter to UKBA so they send out another letter?? it's a 4 letter surname and they missed out one letter. Who do they employ as casew...

I am in the same boat as you, normally expenses that you claim for business mileage , phone bills etc are more considered as reimbursement. Normally earnings should be calculated before tax i.e. gross. Can anyone confirm please? This helps me too.

Tier 1 extention

Hi Folks,

My initial application was in 2006 at that time I was below 28 and got 20 points , I am now 32 what points do i get for tier 1 extention? I belive its still 20 . Can you please confirm.

I guess the earnigs is before tax, best way is to look at your salary slips for gross pay. Gross pay/month = Take home /per month + NI + Tax. (please note that employers NI should not included as earnigs)

How many days in advance for Tier 1 extension

Folks,

I am going for Tier 1 extension in Nov 11 . I herd of few who have applied for exntension like 3 months in advance. What I know that we need to apply just on or 29days to expiry.

Can anyone suggest if I can apply now ? are there anyone got the extension in this fashion?

I am in same situation as yours , but my wife is a stake holder. I would rather suggest to do seperate transfers for your dividents and your husbands as this may less complicate to case worker.
