Thanks for your reply. I paid by cheque as recommended by the bank due to high amount.

Was your's card payment? I think card is faster.

The guidance note says you must not apply 28 days before your current visa expiry. people have differnt experiances here. They got extension from the date they submitted docs for extension, as some have got extension from their visa ending date. The HO response is not consistent in this regard. IMH...

Salary Arrears

Hi
I had my salary arrears for 2010 received in 2011. The total salary for that month has significantly gone doubled(as the arrears also was paid that month).

Does the HO take earnings into consideration or does it classify that as previous year's income?

Can anyone please clarifiy?
