Thanks Smam.

Just realized that Naturalization is not a piece of cake either. It takes almost 800 pounds and 3-4 months on average.

ILR is a step forward but there is still one more hurdle to go.

My appointment at Solihull yesterday went successful and I was granted ILR. It was a lot smooth than I thought it will be. After passing through the security I was given a ticket number and I waited for approximately half an hour before being called to a counter. The lady at the counter was nice and...

Hi..

Many Congratulations adnantps.

I want to ask if you photocopied all the passport pages or just the used ones?

I have not photocopied any of the blank pages on my passport. Will this be a problem? Should I copy all of them?

Thanks
zishi.

I am not sure if SOC was introduced then as it was an old work permit issued in 2007. My designation or responsibilities did not change and it was only the salary that was increased. The company has gone into liquidation since I left around 3 years back. Is there anything I should be careful about i...

I am not sure where I got this information from but I think you can also submit a fresh application within 28 days of refusal without being considered an over stayer.

Hi Linnea No one can predict what will happen on that day as every case is different and therefore the outcome. In most cases that are held by UKBA, I think they keep passport as well. so if they do hold your case for any reason (investigation, IT issues etc), most likely they will keep your passpor...

I am hoping that I will receive at least one of them by the end of this week but will attend the appointment regardless...

.

I think the reason for refusal will be "Documents cannot be verified". However it would be great if some one from this forum can share their first hand experience.
