I am not sure where I got this information from but I think you can also submit a fresh application within 28 days of refusal without being considered an over stayer.

I am in a similar situation. The judge awarded me 4 points and 400 fine for speeding. I have applied for the two checks mentioned above however I have not received any of them yet. If the payslips are on company letterhead, you don't need any signature or stamp on it.

According to guidance I think I don't need to get it signed or stamped as long as its on company letter head.

I think the reason for refusal will be "Documents cannot be verified". However it would be great if some one from this forum can share their first hand experience.
