Yep theres three stages that you can monitor: 1.When you post it you know it's in the postbox 2. Have about 250 - 500 cups of tea in the 5 - 12 month gap 3. You know that it's been approved or denied when you get the application back. It's quite high tech and I'd be happy to explain where to input y...

On the application it is possible, with a letter from your employer confirming it, that your potential sponsor can provide the £800 maintenance on your behalf. I would recommend that she asks her company for help in this instance if she cannot meet the requirements.

Very interesting question because it is a goverment funded operation and there is only a limited fund from which to get the money from. I would be interested in the result.

When you are issued with a Sponsorship License you have a certain amount of COS that you can give out. This is detailed on an individual basis. Beyond this number you must submit an application to the HO for mor COS's but submit enough evidence to justify the need.

hope that halps :)

UK applications are taking between 3 - 6 weeks. You shopuld hear back very soon.

If there is a problem with any of the information submitted and they are having to check it then this will delay the application.

You might just be one of the unlucky 9% that it takes months for :(

You could try apealing to the Bank to do this for you but I don't you will find much sympathy from the Home Office unfortunatley :(

To my knowledge on the old Work Permit scheme you only have 6 months from the point that the Work Permit is granted to apply for your Leave to remain and entry clearance. You have waited from what I can see for 7 months and this may have been an inital error by the official or there may have been a ...
