Thanks for your reply. After a little bit of repeating myself and my requirements they signed and stamped the faxed statements today. I don't have a covering letter to go with this though. dilip_gem, can you confirm if they actually looked at/asked for the covering letter? (I am assuming your extens...

They generally go strictly by the book so they don't care if you are £1 or £10,000 over the lower limit - as long as you clear £23000 you should be ok.

Barclays faxed statements

After much haggling with Barclays telephone banking they sent me faxed copies of missing statements. The fax is in black and white, and looks printed/copied, but contains the Barclays logo as well as my a/c no and name etc. Does anyone have experience with submitting these statements?

Barclays London branches that stamp and sign statements?

Hi all,

As I have misplaced a few months' statements I am wondering which branches are currently stamping and signing copies? My local Camden Town one has refused. Thanks.

Limited Company director : Payslip and dividend voucher auth

1. Aberdeen last time I checked hasn't declared independence from the UK - as much as they might want to with all their oil wealth. You'll be fine on this one.

2. Make sure you have all your payslips. That's all.

If we can apply a 2nd extension to make up the 5 years after the 1st extension, then we do not need to worry about short of years to get settlement anymore. I am NOT considering the extra cost here. Any thoughts? Yep. I'm going with the same idea - don't care that I have to extend for the 2nd time.

Gross/Net Dividend: which is considered?

In calculating Previous Earnings do they consider the Net Dividend (amount paid out), or the Gross Dividend? My understanding of Gross Dividend is the dividend amount paid out + tax credit.

@ukcalling Yes you can. They will simply total up earnings in the consecutive 12-month period. Doesn't matter if you didn't earn anything for a few months in there.

My Tier-1 expires Feb 2012. In the current uncertain climate would it make sense for me to apply for an extension before April 2011? (I don't care about the 'shortfall' towards ILR, I would just like a 2-year extension at this point). Are there others who are thinking about doing this?
