My tier-1 visa began on February 1, 2009. I am still to go to the UK; I will be leaving only in September. I know that the rules do not state an entry-time, but are there problems/questions asked at Heathrow in such cases? Does anyone have/know of any such experiences?

Can you confirm if it is OK to have a consolidated one with covering each attribute and which is physically more than 1-2pages? Hi all, I submitted my Tier 1 application yesterday. I submitted Degree Certificate (India), Bank Statements (UK) and payslips (UK). VFS at the counter came up with a whole list of "suggested" additional documents for me to submit (but that BHC does not insist on) for Integra screening. Wh...

The real question is, is a covering letter needed at all? Doesn't the application form give you space to explain what documents you've submitted, and even for any additional information?

Can anyone assist with this? I am planning to apply in 3 days time and would very much like to be sure of what income band I should be ticking!

Yes, this letter would be sufficient. Just make sure it also states that for the last 3 months the minimum maintained balance has been 2800 pounds.
