The accountant can sign and stamp salary slips and dividend vouchers as a certification that they are authentic. I - as the director of the limited company - also signed and stamped the payslips and vouchers.

This is what I did for my recent application.

Can you please guide what is the process of changing the delivery address? I have the same situation.
Either do it online at thedx.co.uk/delivery or call the number in the 1st post of this thread. Easy.

Its good and much appreciated that you want to do something about this, but posting these issues on a public forums like this may not be a good idea. Why is it not a good idea? Mind that these illegal solicitors and fake ones do have access to these forums and may be reading this and will get alert...

Law firms illegally enhancing applicant's earnings

In conversations with a couple of colleagues I understood that there are law firms/solicitors in London that deposit money into Tier-1 applicants' bank accounts in order to clear the cut-offs for Maintenance Funds and Past Earnings. I understand that these deposits are shown to be invoiced payments ...

quick question, what documents did you take to prove that your accpuntant is a genuine one? Did you get any certification etc documents from the accountant or just the ACCA membership number is enough? The letterheaded sheet on which my letter was printed had my accountants' certification number. T...

How did the case worked check your total number of days outside the UK, did he check each and every stamp on the passport or calculated only on the basis of information you have provided on the form. vishal.jha, my Tier-1 visa does not have a 'number of days outside UK' clause. So this was irreleva...

Just a personal opinion but I would much prefer to be on top of my own application, knowing the ins and outs of it and all the possibilities, rather than delegate this to a lawyer. At the end of the day if there are any questions the lawyer has to come back to you, and unless you are putting togethe...

Hi Antipode, Out of curiosity - What nationality are you? Indian - Had you given biometrics for your initial application in your home country, or here in UK? Just here. Back in end-2008 during my initial application there were no biometrics - Were you claiming the same qualifications from your initi...

Hi QuickSam, it was approved yesterday, I got the approval letter. The Biometric Residence Permit is awaited, apparently takes a week, it is sent to your home address by courier.

Will Postal be processed by 25th March, 12 or In Person will be better as I need to travel by 25th March? My two pence on this: Your application looks straightforward, there is no reason why you won't be granted approval on the same day, so take the in-person appointment. There is the added benefit...

Just to restate what someone else has already said: whatever work you do, avoid being paid in cash. There is no way to prove this, and this money earned is useless in the eyes of your Tier-1 extension.

did you mention yourself as self employed or an employee of your limited company. I suppose there is a confusion on that. I ticked 'Employed' on the form. A strict interpretation of rule 6A would suggest you are 'Self-Employed'. If you are going for an in-person appointment it doesn't matter too mu...

I wonder why people registering for VAT.
VAT is only compulsory for those businesses has £70 K turnover annually...
Short answer: You charge your clients VAT at 20%, you pay HMRC a VAT of 15% (If you're in IT. Percentage varies by profession). The difference you get to keep.

My plan was to work from March 2012 to Jan 2013 (My tier-1 expiry date) and show that I have earned enough amount to keep up the points.
Yup, that's all you need to do. Doesn't matter what you do in the months before your evidence period.
