i wouldn't worry about that. they use your legacy 69/ number as the reference number. that was the case for everyone up until recently.
it's just your reference number, so that they can find you easily on the system when you write in or send any documents.

Absence of the EU citizen from Ireland for more than 6 months could have implications for you. There are some exceptions in the Regulation, check them out. I think it's Regulation 8.2 but not sure and cannot find it now.

COCAO, it's easier if the parents are non visa required. Then they can seek permission to remain as self sufficient person. they would have to show the financial funds (pensions from back home, etc) and have medical insurance. they could get stamp 3.

That means that you got a six months 'window' to enter the country. It will probably be from today to start of August. Your spouse must enter before her entry visa expires. Entry visas are valid for crossing the border only. At the airport your spouse will get a stamp for either 1 or 3 months. Then ...

as your wife is not irish, you have to wait until you complete 5 years on stamp 4 / EUFAM before you qualify to apply for naturalisation. You will still have to renew your current permission when it expires in 2013 by applying for EU3 or EU1. You also have an option to change your permission to resi...

people mainly went for Stamp 5, because it is valid till the expiry of the passport. lets say passport is valid for 10 years, so Stamp 5 covers you for 10 years and you dont have to renew your stamp and pay for the GNIB card every year, which is 300 Euros now
