i think you get those rights in full after 6 months when the spouse of EU citizen is granted Residence card Stamp 4EUFAM. If a British national wants to bring his spouse to the UK to reside in a long term, the EU citizen will have to show the UK that he has been exercising his EU Treaty Rights in ir...

Well if you are self sufficient, that means you are supporting yourself without resources from the state, i.e. no social welfare payments. Plus you have to have medical insurance for the whole family, i.e Eu citizen, applicant and any children

A friend of mine got approved recently and attended december ceremony as a spouse of irish citizen. she applied in 2010.
I believe, that the minister is trying to clear the older applications now, the ones that were kind of forgotten when all new applicants got their decisions in 6 months time.

i would suggest you to submit a letter and a contract of employment from your current job. As you are currently on stamp 4 you are free to change employment. As long as you are working, you are ok.

just my thoughts, that if the EU citizen is already in the country settled in and working or exercising his/her Eu treaty rights, it could be looked more favourably if the non EU spouse is coming to join. while when they are coming together, chances are the EU citizen won't be able to get employment...

Even in order to apply for retention you will have to show evidence or residence and exercise of EUTR in respect of your wife. So if she is not giving you the documents now, how are you going to get them later?

it will be very hard to get anything (EU3 or EU1) if your wife doe not want to give you her passport and other documents. Because according to the EU law you have to submit all the documents. if you cannot.... then, it's the refusal.

Retention is available only after the Divorce. If you are separated, you can not apply for retention. You have to apply for EU1 or EU3 and supply all required usual documents in relation residency and exercise of EUTR

when your gnib card expires in Oct 2013 you have to go to GNIB with your wife and the usual documents to get the remainder of your stamp. I am guessing that's because of the early expiry of your passport. you can apply for a renewal EU3 6 months before feb 2014, i.e. August 2013. However, if you go ...

If you wish, you can send in a letter from the agency/landlord and PRTB letters. that way you will get them to check through your file again in case there is anything missing. are you a...

Processing will definately take some time. You will not get the answer on the same day that's for sure. It can take a few days or weeks. Under EUTR it doesn't matter on what visa your hubbie enters the country. So I am guessing you can apply for short stay visa first. And then once you are in irelan...
