It is not fair on the coalition government to deny residence for migrants who work hard and contribute to the economy. Agree. We are working so hard and paying taxes. I think soon things will clear. British Citizenship is a privilege, not a right. However apply new rules on those already in the sys...

Any contract, term or condition should not change under TUPE. If new employer refuses, you can take him to court. Send an email to UK BA and ask what do you or your new employer has to do? This might be change of employer's name.

I think I have spoted a problem with the letter. She was on student visa 5 years ago before moving to Workp...

Parents just got ILR with their 1 year old daughter. Now daughter is eligible to apply for citizenship. 1- Parents and daughter can apply citizenship at the same time.(One year later) 2- Daughter can apply now and parents can apply in 1 year's time. Whic method is cheaper for poor dad who has just p...

Do not worry.

If you see the statistic, student visa is priority. I think any strict rule will come with probationary citizenship. I also do not think that they have plan to implement these rules early. This is going to be a big job for all of them.

To be honest - as EU/EAA member, you will not have any advantage of having British citizenship. However if I would be in your place, I would get BC. You never know comming immigration, EU and benifit rules. In 50 years time every thing might change. In the mean time If BNP comes into the power than ...

1 - Get your SAR file to see what they have got for you.

2 - Apply by post and do not send any P60. If you read posts of those who applied by post, you will find that not many people send their P60s. Send last year payslips and bank statements.
