Re: Judicial Review

Sleeping stage mate!

You know what? Govt imposed some funny laws on English schools last year. They have gone to court and last week they have won the case.

I would not recommend to have any high hope with this JR.

Lets see whats happen tomorrow. I hope that they will clearly indicate that what they want to do.

I still belive that 24100 cap will not hurt the immigrants a lot because as per BBC its only 5% less than last year.

Interesting discussion

Do not forget that in UK, you have access to free schooling and free top class health care which are very expensive in Asia. In UK if you are poor, you are still a human being. In many asian countries this is not the case.

This is going to affect only new commers T1. (Not T2).

Do not worry, this is not a big change. Last year they issued the same number of T1 visas. (As you can see from BBC that this cap is going to reduce total number of visas by 1300.)

Actual change and proper cap will be after April-11.

As far as I know letter from employer is very important for ILR.

Why your employer is not providing you letter? Even for other purposes e.g. renting house, sch kind of letters are very common.

Do not worry about copy of Workpermit.
