Yes, your child will still entitle to Irish citizen because he/she born in the island of Ireland which include Northen Ireland. I will advise you not to take chance to apply for WCATT anyway which will take shorter time to apply. I don't think it will affect your citizenship application in anyway. W...

Hi My freind is irish and the spouse is Non EEA citizen with visa required to visit ireland and other EU contries.
They married and live in here for 3.5 year up to now. how can they travel to other EU contiies without having to apply visa for the spouse?

Folks, I have checked up on this. The only requirement is that if you move out of the country you need to file a declaration of intention to retain Irish citizenship at the Irish embassy of the country you are moving to. No It won't. Every Irish child under 18 years old entitle to child benefit. A lot of people receiving child benefit and still have their naturalization granted.

If you have reached reckonable period of 5 year, the decision have to be made in 6 months, not 23 months, plus more waiting.
